The Opening Ceremony for the Monroe County Bicentennial will be held Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1pm. Join us on Jackson Street with Governor Brian Kemp and other local dignitaries as they present the proclamation for Monroe County’s 200th Anniversary. Ceremony will also include a multi-plane flyover, the National Anthem delivered by Forsyth’s own Robert Ogletree, and a patriotic-themed performance by members of the Mary Persons High School band.
