Support the Monroe County Bicentennial

Dear Friends and Monroe County Citizens,

Monroe County will turn 200 years old this year! You most likely agree that there is no better county in the state of Georgia in which to live, work, raise a family, relax and play. This historic occasion deserves a celebration, and we need your help to put on a magnificent display of pride, unity and faith in our county!

Recognizing the need for an organization to coordinate this celebration, the Monroe County Commissioners formed The Monroe County Bicentennial Commission and appointed members of the community to oversee the duties of organizing this celebration. The Bicentennial Commission has developed a plan of activities and events including a two-day festival for September 25 and 26, 2021. We are sure you will love it and will want your name to be associated with it! This celebration will provide many opportunities for businesses, non-profit organizations, churches, individuals, and families to show their pride in Monroe County!

Without you, this county would not be the same…without your support, the celebration may not be as good as we think you deserve. So, we hope we can count on you to help us put on the greatest celebration of community pride Middle Georgia has ever experienced.

Please review the following list of opportunities to advertise your business, promote your church, recognize your historic family name, or just to go down in history as an individual supporter of the Monroe County Bicentennial.

Thank you for considering this opportunity to support the celebration of Monroe County and all who live here. We look forward to your positive reply before June 1, 2021.

Please email your business logo to gstanbery@cityofforsyth.com or rdumas@monroecoga.org or contact us for electronic funds transfer options.

If you have questions, please contact any one of the Bicentennial Commission members.

Kindest regards,

Ralph Bass, Monroe County Bicentennial Commission Chairman
